Wow, so… here it is:
my first Blog-Entry!
I guess I can't conceal my
excitement, though I'm still not sure what to
write.
Let's see.
Well… what is this
Blog in the first place!?
Why do I think I
should blog here?
And who's gonna read
any of it at all?!
Here's a sketch: ;)
Tiki's BastelBar
( "basteln" [ˈbastl̩n] = german for handicrafting,
tinkering)
raise from the
(stupid?) idea of an 'in-head
idea-messy' with a lack of time and surplus of
decidophobia, urgently needing an output channel for
all the inspirations and oh-wow-awsome!-stuff
pattering into my mind everyday.
Due to my intense
course of studies in Architecture & Interior
Design, I actually don't have much time to
put any crafty
inspirations into action, that are not directly serving or related to my
course-tasks.
Nevertheless, driven
by my tinker-avid hands, I find myself drawing and
making "stuff" more often
than I should. And
even more often I find myself doing what I seem to
be drawn to eversince:
Doing research on
creative ideas, designs, life-improvement methods,
thoughs and science… basically
on about anything
that meets my frequently varying obsessions.
But, what's the point
of all this crafting, that fills my clutter and all the
research, when I lack time and power to
make something beautiful out of all of it anyways?!
Thus I start
blogging today! ^-^
To give the most
valuable Mades & Finds a platform, so maybe like-minded
humans can pick their favorites out of it and eventually take it to
action, design, or a better life in any kind of way!
I know, I'm speaking
vague - but those to-the-point summary tasks have
always been my greatest weakness.
Sorry for that! =/
Just stop by from
time to time, browse the posts and you'll see what I try to
say. ;)
I'm going to post
Inspiring Designs, Architecture, Craft Ideas, Tutorials,
Life-Improvement and Health Tipps, a loooot of colorful Pictures and some
more or less Philosophical Thoughts on just
about anything…. At
least, that's the plan. ;)
Oh and I added a Link to my Shop on Dawanda (technically that's Etsy in german based version).
You know... just in case anyone actually likes what I make. ;)
Let's see where the
journey goes…
I'll love to see you
back around here someday and hope someone
will enjoy this. =)
<3 Love,
Tiki
